Cookies are handmade and baked fresh in small batches every week.
- Sunday: Orders close for that week at midnight
- Monday: Dough is made and chilled overnight to deepen flavours
- Tuesday: We bake and ship Royal Mail Tracked 24

We bake fresh once a week — it’s part of what makes Milk it cookies so special. Orders close Sunday at midnight (or once we sell out), we prep the dough to order on Monday, and let it chill for 24 hours, for deeper flavour and better texture. Then on Tuesday, it’s bake-and-ship day.
As a one-woman bakehouse, this rhythm keeps quality high and cookies fresh — without compromising on rest or reality. Most boxes arrive on Wednesday, though if you’re in a more remote area, it might be Thursday.
We only open 40 boxes per week, so if you know you’ll want a box for a particular week, pre-order ahead to lock it in. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

We recommend saving them for postpartum, as fenugreek may not be suitable during pregnancy.

Right now, our cookies contain dairy, gluten, eggs, and soy (from the couverture chocolate). We don’t currently have alternative versions, but we know there may be interest in options like vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free.

If kept in an airtight container (or in their original cookie bags) at room temperature, cookies will stay fresh for 7–10 days.
For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months — either in their sealed bags or an airtight container. When you’re ready to enjoy, defrost at room temperature for at least 4 hours (or just overnight on the counter), until soft throughout.
Top tip: Microwave for 10 seconds before eating for that just-baked feel.
